1. Head out of the bubble to Addison on Friday night for their annual Kaboom Town. Get there early to stake out a plot of grass at Addison Circle.
2. Go see Taming of the Shrew at the Shakespeare Festival of Dallas. If you have a membership, they will double the amount of people you can bring in. They also will time intermission to coincide with when Fair Park and Lakewood shoot of their fireworks, so it's two events for the price of one!
3. The W Hotel has a 4th of July special. For 179/night this weekend, you get access to Ghostbar and tab at Wet (their pool), and be in a prime location to watch the fireworks.
