Quadrille's got a new face...
So what do you think of the cleaner look of the blog? I have to give a shout out to The Architect who used his mad Photoshop skills to create my new header.
Programming notes - there will be no weekend suggestions due to the Christmas holiday. However, I hope to post more during the break on all things architecture and design.
Stay tuned.

Midlake makes Rolling Stone's Top 100 Songs of the Decade
Midlake's song "Roscoe" aka "Stonecutters" off of The Trials of Van Occupanther came in at number 90 on the list. Seriously, they got beat by the other Texas native Kelly Clarkson (No. 18 - Since U Been Gone)?
See the full list here.
Speaking of Midlake - their new album "The Courage of Others" drops February 2, 2010. I am excited but also concerned at the same time. It will be hard to top The Trials of Van Occupanther. I can listen to that album everyday and not get tired of it.

Need an excuse not to go to your office Christmas party?
Excuse No. 1: I need to support my community and those in need by bidding on art created by local artists at Art Conspiracy. In addition to picking up some awesome art, there will be live music, video installations and adult beverages.
Excuse No. 2: I am going to fight colon cancer by drinking myself silly at the Santa Cause Pub Crawl. Alcohol kills all germs!
Excuse No. 3: I need to stay home, load up on carbohydrates, and rest up for the White Rock Marathon.
