Must have iPhone apps for architects and architecture fans

Two new iPhone apps for architects and those who love them.

1. Worldwide Architectural Guide from Makayama: Tells you about the building and the architect, shows two images for each project, website and address, and a detailed map with walking or driving directions. Google Street Views where available. Projects can also be browsed by categories 'cities' or 'architects'. The app contains projects from 165 different architects, in 270 cities worldwide. It has more than 1000 pictures from buildings.

2. FanGuide Tours: This app provides you with guided tours of architecturally significant buildings complete with audio and video files. There are currently three tours: 1) L.A. Modern, 2) Chicago Loop, and 3) Oak Park Prairie School. They will soon be adding Palm Springs Modern and Chicago River.

I appreciate you adding FanGuide to your list, we certainly love architecture. I wanted to let you know that there is also a FanGuide for River Forest Illinois which as you know contains a lot of Frank Lloyd Wright and other Prairie Style structures. You can use this link to see all of the FanGuides for now and in the future.

If you have any ideas for features or have problems with it let us know. Thanks again, I hope you enjoy the applications!
