Weekend Plans

1. Art Conspiracy is Saturday - 150 artists, bidding starts at 20 bucks, with music from Datahowler, The Hope Trust and J. Charles and the Trainrobbers.  Proceeds from the auction benefit Music Angels, a group that provides piano lessons to children in Dallas-area hospitals.  Buy your tickets here.

2. Saturday morning take your puppy up to Addison to get a holiday photo with Santa.  Proceeds from the photos benefit the Greyhoud Adoption League of Texas.

3. Saturday and Sunday is also the Lakewood Homes Tour and Market.

Weekend Plans

1. Friday head down to the Sons of Hermann Hall for Art Consipracy's fundraiser SEED. There will be live music and an auction of artist designed lanterns. Money raised goes towards operational costs for the annual Art Conspiracy auction.

2. On Saturday head downtown to Swirll where they will be pairing sushi with sparkling wine.

3. Sunday go to House of Blues to see crooner Chris Isaak. Request his cover of "Solitary Man."

Art Conspiracy Fundraiser - August 7

On August 7, 2009 at Sons of Hermann Hall Art Conspiracy will be hosting a fundraiser to raise case to cover operating costs for their annual art auction that raises money for a local charity in Dallas. The Architect and I went to Art Conspiracy last year and walked away with some gorgeous art for the abode.

The fundraiser called SEED will consist of an auction of lanterns made from coffee tins and designed by local Dallas artists. Additionally, there will be live music from local Dallas bands.
