1. Saturday from 2-8pm is the DADA gallery walk. Details here. You will be able to park and walk to many of the galleries on the tour.
2. Sunday is the One Arts Plaza Block Party - restaurants at One Art Plaza will be having culinary demonstrations, there will be artisans selling their wares, and dancers at Dance for the Planet next door at Booker T. Washington High School.
3. If music is more your thing, head over to Sons of Hermann Hall on Saturday night to hear Salim Nourallah and the Roamin' Hitchhikers (a.k.a. Old 97s).

Weekend Plans
1. Friday head down to the Sons of Hermann Hall for Art Consipracy's fundraiser SEED. There will be live music and an auction of artist designed lanterns. Money raised goes towards operational costs for the annual Art Conspiracy auction.
2. On Saturday head downtown to Swirll where they will be pairing sushi with sparkling wine.
3. Sunday go to House of Blues to see crooner Chris Isaak. Request his cover of "Solitary Man."

Art Conspiracy Fundraiser - August 7
On August 7, 2009 at Sons of Hermann Hall Art Conspiracy will be hosting a fundraiser to raise case to cover operating costs for their annual art auction that raises money for a local charity in Dallas. The Architect and I went to Art Conspiracy last year and walked away with some gorgeous art for the abode.
The fundraiser called SEED will consist of an auction of lanterns made from coffee tins and designed by local Dallas artists. Additionally, there will be live music from local Dallas bands.
